I can't jump. And I realized this when I started my weight loss journey and I had a really difficult time doing jumping jacks. When you get to a weight that your mobility is restricted, it is really hard to reconcile all of the things you no longer are able to do that you think you should be able to do. So I started on a journey to reclaim all of the things that I've lost through gaining so much weight. I'm down 131 pounds and now I'm able to tackle the challenge of starting to jump again. I've been practicing my jumping jacks. I've been practicing on jumping on steps and currently I am trying to jump on the curb. I think I have a little bit of fear and hesitation. I'm scared of falling on the concrete. But once I can do this, I know nothing's going to stop me from doing all the things that I want to do in my life and reclaiming all the things and skills that I've lost.
