My daughter always has the coolest ideas when it comes to her nails, so I thought it would be really fun to let her design her own set. I made my own template on Canva and let her go to town. To no one's surprise, she came up with this absolutely adorable rainbow aura set, and it was finally time to say goodbye to these baby blue chrome nails. I started by removing all of her old polish with my safety bit, and in only four weeks, her nails got quite a bit of length on them, so we definitely had to cut them down. We went with a classic square shape with rounded corners and then I finished up the rest of my prep work I never use a nail dehydrator so my prep is very very important to get these sets to last. I would be lost without my sanding band and my Skyver. These are my go-to prep bits. Obviously we had to clean up those pesky cuticles with my nippers. I use the American Creator gel line for my base. I use the ones in the bottles not the ones in the pots and that's just a personal preference for my daughter's nails i always do a small layer of their construction gel you can see me applying this in real time and like i said it is a very thin layer each nail in her design had a different background so as soon as we laid that all down i got out my fun little palette so that i could start her aura effect i finally got my hands on some blooming gel so i did a thin layer of that on each nail and then put a dot of color in the center and over time that dot will expand and really soften its edges once you like how that looks a dot of color in the center and over time that dot will expand and really soften its edges once you like how that looks you just throw it in the light to cure now as a reminder this is what her nails looked like before and here are the results
